Polish National Catholic Church – Roman Catholic (PNCC/RC) Dialogue
With the encouragement of Pope Saint John Paul II, a dialogue between the Polish National Catholic Church and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops was established in 1984. Its purpose was to promote healing following the division which had occurred in the late nineteenth century and to work for the restoration of full and visible unity. The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops joined this dialogue in 2008.
