2007 CCCB Plenary Assembly: Documents and News Releases
Thursday, October 18 2007The annual meeting of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) was held in Cornwall, Ontario, 15-19 October 2007. The Plenary Assembly provides an opportunity for its members to discuss various pastoral and financial questions.
The CCCB was established almost 65 years ago by the Bishops of Canada to assist in their pastoral collaboration and in dealing with major social challenges facing the nation. More than 80 Bishops attended the 2007 Plenary as well as a number of observers who had been invited, including clergy and members of other Catholic organizations and Christian churches.
