Thursday, February 21 2002(Ottawa – CCCB) The Catholic Organization for Life and Family has released a new publication entitled In Love For Life which is a reflection paper on the conjugal, social and religious significance of marriage.
The 44-page document presents a portrait of marriage in Canada, examines the social dimension of marriage as well as its personal and conjugal dimensions, looks at marriage from a Christian anthropological perspective and presents the sacramental dimension of marriage.
It answers many current questions, including why people marry today, what is so different about love in marriage, and what is gained by getting married instead of just living together.
The booklet provides compelling responses about the significance of marriage as well as inviting reflection and discussion. It is a useful resource and reference tool for all concerned about the future of marriage.
